![]() ![]() You can complete every event as you go, or blast through one path and clear it all up after, it’s up to you. Step 2: Complete every event in Career Mode.Īll you need to do here is play through the Career Mode. Congratulations, you just unlocked everything that doesn’t require Career Mode progress. Side note - now is a good time to check the driving aids and change the difficulty to easy if you want, as the first compulsory race is played on medium and you can’t change it mid-race. After that, head back to the main menu and get the 2 Playgrounds trophies out of the way. Press to access your profile and change your player card for Fast Cars and Fancy Cards, then back all the way out to the main menu, select ‘Garage’ and save a custom vehicle livery for +10 HRSPRS. After this is over you’ll be in the Career Mode screen. When you start up the game you’ll be thrown right into an event, just do as well as you can. It makes sense to get a couple of easy trophies done first thing. While everything else in the game is doable within about 15-20 hours, this trophy alone is likely going to take 130 or more hours on top, at an estimate. However there is one trophy that won’t come naturally and is out of place and time-consuming to get, which involves driving a total of 10,000 miles. ![]() The single online trophy involves rating a created Playground, so that’s the one to get out of the way if you’re the type who likes to get those pesky trophies out of the way first. There are no difficulty related trophies so I’d recommend playing on Easy for the easiest possible time. In terms of trophies, most of them will come with completing every event in the Career and dipping your toe into the Playground mode. There’s also drop-in, drop-out co-op gameplay for the Career mode and a variety of online modes. Also interspersed in there is the Dirt podcast by Donut Media, which goes over some of the key moments in the game, so there’s really never a dull moment. However, the game does make it more fun and interesting with some great narrative in the form of star voice-actors Nolan North as the game’s antagonist Bruno Durand, and Troy Baker who plays your mentor Alex Janiček (AJ for short). The premise of the career portion of the game is a somewhat familiar formula of racing your way from a newbie on the scene to be the very best in the world. It’s less like Dirt 4 or the Dirt Rally games which came either side of that, which kept the focus on Rally events and realism. In comparison with the previous numbered games, it very much feels like a direct sequel to Dirt 2 and Dirt 3, building on what they offered in every way. This game goes back to the off-road, arcade-style beginnings of the series, featuring 8 different types of race events in a wide variety of locations. #Dirt 5 ps4 trophy guide upgradeIt will be the first in the series to feature on PS5, being available at the console’s launch, as well as being free to upgrade to the next-gen version for anyone who purchases on PS4. #Dirt 5 ps4 trophy guide PatchAny game save from Patch 1.02 is incompatible with Patch 1.03, and the game will not save your progress if one is present on your system**ĭirt 5 is the latest instalment of the ‘Dirt’ franchise from Codemasters, and the eighth game to carry the ‘Dirt’ title. **Note: make sure you are DEFINITELY playing on Patch 1.03 or later.
